Elizabeth (Liz) La Rocca is a Partner focused on corporate immigration, advising employers and investors on strategic, compliant, and business-driven immigration solutions. She represents clients ranging from multinational corporations and financial institutions to emerging growth companies, Family Offices, and high-net-worth individuals across a wide range of industries.
Liz has extensive experience managing the full spectrum of employment-based immigration matters. Her practice includes nonimmigrant visa petitions, PERM labor certification, employment-based immigrant visa (green card) processes, consular processing, and naturalization. She regularly counsels employers on complex workforce planning, global mobility strategy, and immigration considerations arising in corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
In addition to her employment-based practice, Liz is highly experienced in advising investors, entrepreneurs, and Family Offices on investment-based immigration pathways. She works closely with international tax advisors, wealth planners, and corporate stakeholders to structure and navigate E-2 investor visas and other strategic entry options to the United States. Her work with Family Offices includes coordinating sophisticated cross-border planning, supporting relocation strategies for principals and executives, and aligning immigration solutions with broader investment and estate planning objectives.
Liz is frequently recognized for her excellence in immigration law, including selection to The Best Lawyers in America® for Immigration Law (2023–2026). She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and a published author on emerging immigration trends impacting global investors and Family Offices.
Liz is admitted to practice law in Washington, D.C. only, and she will practice under the supervision of Texas Bar members.
