Biography

Elijah practices in the Louisville office with the Commercial Finance and Real Estate Practice Groups, representing developers, investors, and lenders in the financing, servicing, purchasing, selling, development and leasing of commercial real estate across broad asset classes including multifamily, office, industrial, retail, and hospitality.

Elijah has extensive experience in the multifamily industry, working with investors and developers in complex transactions utilizing a range of programs including federal and state low-income housing tax credits, federal and state historic rehabilitation tax credits, energy tax credits, tax-exempt bonds and local financing.

Elijah graduated summa cum laude from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in 2022, where he simultaneously earned his Master of Urban Planning (MUP) degree. While in law school, he was a judicial intern for Magistrate Judge Colin Lindsay, Articles Editor of the Law Review, and a published fellow with the Resilience Justice Project.

Prior to law school, Elijah earned his political science degree from the University of Louisville, worked for the Kentucky Legislative Research Commission, and worked for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Kentucky.
