FBT Gibbons Partner Gene Price is featured by WLEX-TV in a news story on the growing threat of foreign cyberattacks targeting critical infrastructure. Speaking to Kentucky lawmakers, he discusses the need for states to prepare for potential disruptions.
“There are groups that are dedicated to getting into our critical infrastructure and the Critical Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has now asked the states to get ready to operate in isolation in an emergency,” Price says.
Price also explains that many of Kentucky’s critical systems benefit from not being connected to the internet but cautions that conflicts elsewhere in the world could still have significant economic consequences for the state.
