As a member of the Commercial Finance Practice Group. Payton’s practice focuses primarily on asset-based lending, commercial and industrial financing.
Prior to joining the firm, Payton worked for a large law firm in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he represented financial institutions and investment firms in a variety of equipment finance transactions, including direct loans, leases, credit facilities, and purchase and sale transactions for rail, aircraft, and general equipment assets.
While in law school, Payton served as the Senior Managing Editor for the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies.
