Biography

Meredith advises employers nationally on wide-ranging employment law issues, including internal investigations, terminations, reductions in force, and compliance with a multitude of federal, state, and local anti-discrimination and other employment laws. In addition to counseling employers, she defends employers against claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wage and hour violations before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), state and local agencies, and in federal and state court. Meredith also frequently works with national and local employers to draft employment contacts and complex multi-state handbooks and other workplace policies.

Meredith has deep experience advising employers in the transportation and energy sectors regarding Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing regulations and drafting DOT-compliant drug and alcohol policies.

Prior to joining the firm, Meredith practiced at international law firms in Texas and Colorado.
