Biography

Lola previously worked in insurance defense where her experience includes drafting and responding to discovery requests; drafting and preparing legal filings and pre-trial memoranda, such as motions for summary judgment and coverage letter opinions; and more. Prior to joining the firm, Lola served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Martin Shulman in the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, First Department.

While in law school, Lola served as a staff writer for the Journal of Civil Rights and Economic Development and worked with the Domestic Violence Litigation Clinic at NYLAG where she represented indigent clients seeking orders of protection, child custody, and visitation in Family Court and Integrated Domestic Violence Courts.
