Biography

Elaine is Counsel in the firm’s Dallas office, where she focuses on commercial finance and lending transactions. With nearly two decades of experience in both private practice and in-house legal roles, she advises financial institutions and businesses on a broad range of commercial finance matters.

Prior to joining FBT Gibbons, Elaine served as Vice President and Senior Counsel at Comerica Bank and previously held senior in-house counsel roles with Texas Capital Bank. Earlier in her career, she was a partner in the finance and real estate practice at Clark Hill and practiced with other leading regional law firms, representing lenders and borrowers in complex financing transactions. Her combined law firm and in-house experience provides clients with practical, business-focused counsel shaped by firsthand knowledge of the financial services industry.
