Cassie is an associate in FBT Gibbons’ Business Litigation group, where she represents clients in a wide range of complex commercial disputes. Her practice includes experience in high-stakes litigation, advising on issues ranging from contract disputes to business torts.
Cassie has experience assisting clients in developing critical facts and narratives, drafting motions and pleadings, and responding to discovery requests. She brings experience in government enforcement actions, having previously aided clients in navigating investigations and litigation brought by state and federal agencies such as the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
Prior to joining FBT Gibbons, Cassie clerked on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she served as a Legal Writing Fellow, an editorial board member for the Virginia Journal of International Law, and a clinic member for the Innocence Project at UVA Law School. During law school, Cassie interned for the U.S. Army JAG Corps, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Virginia, and the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Middle District of Florida.
