Andrew’s practice is focused on commercial real estate transactions involving the acquisition, sale, leasing, development, and financing of real property. He helps clients evaluate transaction objectives, address diligence issues, negotiate key terms, and advance matters efficiently from initial planning through closing.
Prior to joining FBT Gibbons, Andrew represented institutional lenders and life insurance companies in complex commercial real estate financing transactions involving retail, industrial, and mixed-use properties. His experience includes financing transactions ranging from single-asset acquisitions to multi-property portfolios and structures incorporating mezzanine debt, preferred equity, tenancy-in-common ownership, and condominium regimes.
While attending Rutgers Law School, Andrew served as a Staff Editor of the Rutgers Race & the Law Review and was Vice President of the Newark Housing Rights Coalition. He also participated in Rutgers’ Child Advocacy Clinic and Immigrant Rights Clinic. Before beginning his legal career, Andrew worked as a Latin teacher and remains committed to education and community engagement throughout his professional career.
