Biography

Allie focuses her practice on economic development projects and government services for public clients. She began her career in the Ohio Senate and Ohio House of Representatives as Senior Legislative Aide to the Chairman of the Finance Committee, where she led coordination of amendments, drafting and committee hearings for two state biennial operating budgets and two capital budget cycles.

Allie also served as the legislative liaison at the Ohio Department of Administrative Services where she advocated for DAS before the Ohio General Assembly, the Governor’s Office, and stakeholders on topics including collective bargaining and human resources, data and efficiency, information technology, and general government services including enterprise fleet management, risk management, real estate and planning, properties and facilities, state and federal surplus supplies, and procurement.

Allie most recently served as Associate Legal Counsel and Chief Legislative Officer at DAS.

  • Served as primary attorney for all real estate transactions involving state-owned land including land under the jurisdiction of public institutions of higher education.
  • Advised on employment matters including employee benefits and wage and hour matters.
  • Advised and ensured compliance with open meetings and public records laws.
  • Negotiated and drafted contracts.
