Since opening its doors in 2007, FBT Gibbons’ Florence office has burgeoned into a prominent, influential practice handling both local matters and matters of national and international significance.

Strengths

The Florence team is led by Partner-in-Charge Greg Shumate and represents an impressive range of public and private sector clients. This includes one of the world’s largest technology companies as well as numerous clients spanning the manufacturing, logistics, insurance and healthcare sectors. We have notable strength in the areas of labor and employment, real estate, tax incentive financing, commercial litigation, environmental law, data privacy, and government relations.

The Florence office is home to published authors, a musician, as well as a former Kentucky Secretary of State and Harvard administrator.

Community

Notably, every one of our attorneys have held longstanding leadership positions on boards across Northern Kentucky, including the Covington Business Council, the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, the Northern Kentucky University Board of Regents, and Kenton County Planning Commission.
