FBT Gibbons Partner Herbert “JR” Moore spoke with Law360 about joining the Private Equity & Venture practice group in the Newark office and his wide-ranging experience in fund formation and emerging companies.
“One of the things that attracted me to FBT Gibbons was the opportunity to be in a well-rounded private equity and venture capital practice and not necessarily just focus on fund formation or just focus on corporate life cycle work,” he says. “It’s really an opportunity to do both.”
Moore notes that he is looking forward to his role at FBT Gibbons and practicing a dynamic field with the backing of the firm’s attorneys in sophisticated corporate work.
“There’s [significant scope] to represent exciting, emerging growth companies as well as sponsors who want to put together funds to invest in private companies,” he adds. “It’s a great [environment] to be nimble and take advantage of the [shifts] in the market.”
