    FBT Gibbons’ Ricardo Solano Inducted as Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers

FBT Gibbons Partner Ricardo Solano, Jr. has been inducted as a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers (IATL), one of the most prestigious legal organizations dedicated to trial advocacy.

Solano serves as head of FBT Gibbons’ White Collar & Investigations practice group and as Northeast Chair of the firm’s Litigation Department. He maintains extensive experience in high-stakes litigation and government enforcement matters.

Prior to joining FBT Gibbons, Solano served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey, where he worked in both the Criminal and Appeals Divisions. In 2008, he was appointed First Assistant Attorney General for the State of New Jersey under then-Attorney General Anne Milgram, now Administrator of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration. In that role, Solano oversaw the Divisions of Criminal Justice, Law, Consumer Affairs, and Gaming Enforcement and helped shape litigation strategy across a broad range of criminal and civil matters.

The International Academy of Trial Lawyers is a fellowship of attorneys from the United States and around the world recognized for their skill, experience, integrity, and civility. Membership is limited to 500 active U.S.-based Fellows, with additional members from more than 30 countries. The Academy’s mission is to protect and promote the Rule of Law while advancing excellence in advocacy and the administration of justice.
