FBT Gibbons attorneys Rahat Huq and Cheryl Rosenberg represented BOKF, NA in the creation of LocalTrust Texas, a new local government investment pool available to eligible Texas governmental entities.
Authorized under the Texas Public Funds Investment Act, LocalTrust Texas is designed to provide participating entities with daily liquidity while generating current income and preserving capital through investments in securities permitted under Texas law.
LocalTrust Texas held its inaugural board meeting on Aug. 20, 2026, during which its Board of Trustees and Advisory Board were appointed. FBT Gibbons will serve as legal counsel to the Board of Trustees as the pool begins operations.
The representation draws on FBT Gibbons’ experience advising financial institutions, governmental entities, and other organizations on regulatory, governance, investment, and transactional matters.
