FBT Gibbons’ Denver office raised $8,130 for the Legal Aid Foundation of Colorado through the foundation’s annual Associates Campaign, a statewide initiative that supports access to legal services for low-income Coloradans, seniors and veterans.
Bradford Higdon, Devin Bradbury, and Mamie Ling led the office’s fundraising efforts, with participation from across the Denver office.
Colorado Legal Services, the campaign’s beneficiary, is a nonprofit organization that provides free legal assistance to low-income Coloradans on a broad variety of legal areas.
Firms participating in the campaign compete in groups based on the number of associates in their Colorado offices. During the Associates Campaign Celebration on April 29, FBT Gibbons received awards for highest total revenue raised among small firms and 100% associate participation. The firm was also recognized by the Legal Aid Foundation of Colorado and Colorado Supreme Court Justice William W. Hood III for its efforts.
This year’s monthlong campaign included 74 law firms and corporate counsel teams, with 32 teams achieving 100% associate participation. In total, the campaign raised $690,700, surpassing the foundation’s goal of $550,000.
