Best Practices for DEI and Employment Law

July 12, 202312:00 pm ESTFree Webinar

Even with the best of intentions, many employers can find it challenging to implement successful diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs. In this free webinar, labor and employment attorneys Jennifer Rulon and Jessica Sexton will share best practices and innovative ideas for partnership between DEI teams, Human Resources professionals, and in-house and outside counsel. Attendees will learn methods to set themselves up for success with DEI programs, while ensuring that they are complying with laws that may impact DEI, such as Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and other federal and state laws. We will also discuss the potential impact of the Supreme Court’s June 29, 2023, decision on affirmative action in Students for Fair Admissions, Inc. v. President and Fellows of Harvard College and University of North Carolina, et al.
