Derrick Maultsby has been invited to speak on various topics at the intersection of the law, venture capital, and technology at Legalweek New York, Brown University’s Nelson Center of Entrepreneurship, University of Dayton School of Law, Minority Innovation Weekend, FounderX Global Summit, Howard University School of Law, and SXSW, amongst others. Derrick is also the founder of the Maultsby Accelerator and Micro-Grant Competition at Robert Morris University. Aside from his practice, Derrick is also committed to creating a more equitable and inclusive environment within his law firm through serving on the firm’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion committee and through his diversity scholarship funds at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Duquesne University School of Law.
