Mr. Zackin’s practice for many years has concentrated heavily in the areas of employment law and benefits litigation and client counseling. He has been particularly active in discrimination and wrongful discharge matters and has focused extensively on reduction in force and other employment termination related issues, including cases under the WARN Act and whistleblower protection laws. He has also handled a wide variety of ERISA, wage and hour, restrictive covenant, trade secret, and employment agreement issues both in terms of litigation and counseling. Mr. Zackin is included on the New Jersey Super Lawyers “Employment Litigation: Defense” list and the Best Lawyers® “Employee Benefits (ERISA)” list.
In addition, Mr. Zackin has authored numerous articles dealing with some of these more timely issues. He is also an editor of Gibbons on Federal Practice in New Jersey, published by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
