Biography

With more than 35 years of experience as a trial lawyer, Jeff concentrates his practice on catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, and workplace injury claims. He also counsels and defends employers on worker’s compensation claims and disputes.

For more than a dozen years, Jeff has served on a national trial team for a major Japanese manufacturer – a team that defends the client’s flagship product in pattern litigation involving a product recall, and that has tried high profile cases from Florida to California. Additionally, throughout Jeff’s career, he has served as national coordinating counsel for Medicare reporting for a major product manufacturer, national discovery counsel for a medical device manufacturer in multi-district litigation, and national coordinating counsel for a major vehicle manufacturer related to cases and claims for recalled products.

Jeff has tried more than 60 trials, including a combination of jury and bench, as well as cases before administrative tribunals. Representative trials include catastrophic injuries, recalled products, major fires, and breach of contract. Jeff has also handled appeals on significant topics including wrongful death, catastrophic injuries, worker’s compensation, evidence spoliation, fire loss, the economic loss rule, statute of repose, admissibility of expert testimony, and post-sale duty to warn.
