FBT Gibbons LLP
For more than 25 years, the Gibbons firm has guided Stryker through some of its most consequential and high-stakes product liability litigation. The new firm, FBT Gibbons LLP, has deep industry knowledge in the varied industries in which we practice, including in four main sectors – Life Sciences (Biotech, Diagnostics, Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Nutraceuticals, and Bioinformatics); Manufacturing (Consumables, Industrials, Mobility, Supply Chain); Energy (Oil, Gas & Minerals, Renewables, Utilities); and Finance (Financial Institutions, Commercial Real Estate) – and offers clients enhanced capabilities across a broad spectrum of practice areas, including product liability, commercial litigation, labor & employment, white collar & investigations, artificial intelligence (AI), healthcare, corporate transactions and M&A, commercial finance, dispute resolution, real estate, government and regulatory affairs, and intellectual property, to name a few.
Having developed a trusted relationship with Stryker in the product liability space over 25+ years, we are very excited about the opportunity to help Stryker achieve its business goals in other practice areas, including the three “in-scope” practice areas that we will highlight for the 2026 Stryker Legal Summit – Commercial Litigation, Investigations, and Employment.
In-Scope Practice Areas
Distinguished as a top business litigation practice, we offer innovative, timely and strategic solutions to complex legal issues in pursuit of client business goals. We pride ourselves on working effectively and efficiently, hand in hand with the client, from the inception of the matter and throughout the life of the case. We also routinely intervene long before litigation is initiated, employing risk management and avoidance strategies as a key part of our advisory services. When litigation is unavoidable, however, or presents the best alternative, we are vested in a positive outcome for clients and work aggressively towards the most effective and expedient resolution.
While we represent clients in all types and stages of litigation, we have notable depth and a proven track record in the following areas:
