Rayndel (“Ray”) assists clients with their estate planning needs, including wills, trusts, and advance directives tailored to family goals, intergenerational wealth succession, and asset protection. With a Master of Laws (LLM) in taxation, Ray brings a profound understanding of the income, estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax implications involved in every aspect and stage of the planning process. He uses his knowledge to assist clients throughout probate and trust administration, optimize planning goals, avoid potential tax traps, and assure clients are compliant with their fiduciary duties and Florida law. Ray also assists foreign, non-resident clients who are in need of U.S. estate planning or complex international tax planning.
Ray advises both for-profit and nonprofit entities on a wide range of legal matters, such as reporting compliance under applicable federal and state law, tax credit and deduction eligibility, complex state and local tax issues, and tax-efficient or tax-free transaction-structuring strategies. Additionally, he assists clients with navigating the risks involved in each stage of investment, including choice of entity, formation, and exit strategy. In doing so, Ray employs a teamwork-oriented methodology and works closely with clients, financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals.
