Paul E. Asfendis

Paul is a litigation director in the firm’s New York office. He concentrates his practice on pharmaceutical/medical device-related litigation and has been heavily involved in defending large national corporations in high-profile, complex multidistrict and mass tort litigations. He also litigates matters involving products ranging from industrial equipment to consumer goods and represents a broad base of product manufacturers, product distributors, and other companies, large and small, in business litigation and contractual disputes. Admitted in New York and New Jersey, as well as multiple federal courts, Paul has represented and counseled clients across the United States through the full life of a case, from inception through trial. He has served as both lead and second chair trial counsel in multiple matters and also has considerable appellate experience, which includes successfully arguing multiple appeals before New York’s appellate courts, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
