Jen Hradil, Co-Leader of the firm’s Appellate practice, concentrates her business litigation practice in federal and state courts in New Jersey and New York. She practices at both the trial court and appellate levels, representing clients in a wide range of complex commercial disputes, helping them navigate the legal ramifications of their businesses. Jen has litigated all varieties of business disputes, including business tort, professional malpractice, breach of contract, antitrust, securities, restrictive covenant, and unfair competition matters.
She has significant experience seeking and opposing applications for emergent and other injunctive relief. Jen brings her substantial litigation experience to bear when advising clients in advance of litigation as to their contractual rights and obligations.
In her Appellate practice, Jen has represented clients in appeals in both state and federal courts, briefing and arguing appeals involving constitutional, statutory construction and contract construction issues. She has worked not only in connection with appeals from final Orders, but also with leave to pursue interlocutory appeals and with mandamus petitions.
Jen has argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second, Third, and Ninth Circuits, the New Jersey Appellate Division and Supreme Court, and the New York State Appellate Division, First Department.
Following her clerkship for the Honorable Morton I. Greenberg, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, Jen began practicing in 1998. She has also served as an adjunct professor of law at Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, where she taught legal writing and commercial law.
