Andrew’s practice includes a diverse set of complex commercial and criminal litigation matters at both the trial and appellate levels. He has a robust civil practice, representing clients in high-stakes commercial disputes, including contractual, environmental, and securities litigation, as well as class action defense. He also has a sizeable criminal practice, and has tried multiple federal criminal cases to verdict; last year, he participated in a seven-week trial involving allegations of healthcare fraud, identity theft, and money laundering, and sat second-chair in an insider trading trial. He has also worked on prosecutions involving allegations of bribery, securities fraud, and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations. Andrew has considerable experience drafting legal briefs and arguing motions in both civil and criminal cases, preparing jury instructions, and cross-examining witnesses. Andrew is also a member of the Firm’s Appellate Team; he clerked on the Eleventh Circuit, and has represented clients in the Second, Third, Sixth, and Eleventh Circuits.
Prior to joining the firm, Andrew clerked for the Honorable R. Lanier Anderson, III, United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in Macon, GA. Prior to this clerkship, he was an associate in the Litigation & Arbitration Department at Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP in New York, where he focused on international arbitration and arbitral award enforcement proceedings.
