The International Trademark Association (INTA) has recognized Matthew Clark as a 2026 Rising Star, a distinction that recognizes emerging leaders in the intellectual property profession who have demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing the IP community through substantive experience or dynamic professional contributions, including speaking, writing, and active involvement within the association and the community.
Clark concentrates his practice on trademark, copyright, entertainment, and internet law, regularly advising clients on the development and enforcement of global brand strategies. He has extensive experience with domestic and international trademark clearance, prosecution, licensing, enforcement, and litigation, including representation before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Clark also counsels clients on a wide range of copyright and digital media matters, including advertising, social media, websites, and emerging technologies, and negotiates and drafts complex commercial and creative agreements across entertainment, apparel, food and beverage, and sports industries. He has served on several INTA committees throughout the years, including the Unreal Campaign where he provided presentations to high school students on the dangers of Counterfeit goods. His intellectual property practice and active engagement with evolving brand and content issues reflect the substantive knowledge and professional contributions recognized by INTA’s Rising Star program.
