FBT Gibbons Partner Kevin Havelda has been appointed by the Colorado Speaker of the House to serve a four-year term as a Commissioner to the Office of Judicial Performance Evaluation (OJPE) for the 8th Judicial District. In this role, Havelda will help advance OJPE’s mission of promoting transparency and accountability within Colorado’s judiciary.
OJPE supports the state’s Commissions on Judicial Performance and is responsible for a range of critical functions, including training commissioners, overseeing judicial performance surveys of both attorneys and non-attorneys, and compiling and providing judicial evaluation results to Colorado voters.
Havelda helps clients navigate challenging issues across a broad range of complex and simple litigation, including commercial litigation, employment litigation, physician and medical provider licensure complaints, insurance defense litigation, and general civil litigation. He also has extensive experience litigating restrictive covenant disputes in Colorado and Kentucky.
